Smart City Expo Kuala Lumpur (SCEKL) is Southeast Asia’s premier gathering for urban innovation and digital transformation. Smart City Expo Kuala Lumpur 2025 will take place on:

Smart City Expo Kuala Lumpur 2025 will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle district.

The venue is easily accessible by:
– LRT: KLCC Station (Kelana Jaya Line) with direct underground walkway to the venue
– MRT: Persiaran KLCC Station (Putrajaya Line), approximately 700 meters away
– E-hailing services: Available throughout Kuala Lumpur with pickup points at the ground floor main entrance
– Car: Underground parking available at the Convention Centre

Smart City Expo World Congress exists in order to empower cities and collectivize urban innovation across the globe. We help cities and territories become better places to live in by bringing them together and spotlighting the latest market-ready urban solutions.
The event consists of a 3-day congress and expo and has become the annual meeting point for corporate leaders, public representatives, entrepreneurs, experts, and academics from all around the globe, encouraging them to share their vision, make new business, and open new paths for international collaboration.
The 2025 edition will take place from 4 to 6 November.
Tuesday (04 Nov) and Wednesday (05 Nov): 9am – 7pm
Thursday (06 Nov): 9am – 5pm
SCEWC25 will be held in Barcelona, Spain. The venue is Fira Barcelona – Gran Via.
Registration for SCEWC25 will open in May. Fill out the form at the end of this page if you’d like us to notify you as soon as accreditation is open.

The 2025 Call for Speakers is now open until April, 21.

A) Becoming an official Partner. Ensure a congress spot and gain maximum awareness for your brand.
B) Hosting your own session in a Stage or Conference Center. Call for Breakout Sessions is open until June, 23.
These internationally acclaimed prizes recognize and support innovative strategies, projects and ideas that can make a positive impact on cities. The 2025 Call for Awards is now open until June, 30.

As a visitor or exhibitor of Smart City Expo World Congress, you can get great deals on travel and accommodation.

In order to access the venue you will have to present your Digital Badge, which you can find on the official event’s app (available from October). Once you arrive at the venue, it will be scanned and you’ll receive your printed Badge at the entrance.
You can do so by going to the complementary services page. This page shows the upgrades that you are eligible for, depending on the type of ticket you purchased.
We promote an online ticketing! Make sure you read the following instructions on how to get your Badge:
1. Download the Official Event App prior to your arrival:
The 2025 Official App will be available in October. You’ll find your Digital Badge on the app.
Please log in with the email address you provided in the Attendees Details during the registration process.
2. Use your Digital Badge to enter Fira Barcelona:
To enter the venue, present your Digital Badge on your mobile device.
3. Collect your printed Badge:
Your Digital Badge will be scanned, and you’ll receive your printed badge at the entrance.

As an exhibitor, you get a number of invitations and exhibitor badges that depends on the participation package you contracted. You will also get discounted rates for purchasing additional passes.
If you are already an exhibitor, you can find this information in the Exhibitor Area.

If you want to organize your own session within the SCEWC25 program or hold a corporate meeting alongside the event, you can submit your proposal until June, 23.

If you requested your invoice during the registration process, log into the Exhibitor Area and find it available for download under the “invoice” section.
We offer exhibitors full flexibility, whether they want to contract space-only and then personalize their design stand or contract a shell-scheme. For space-only options, we recommend contracting the service of buildUP, Fira de Barcelona’s booth design department.

Assembly hours:
– 30 October – 2 November: 8 am – 8 pm
– 3 November: 8 am – 10 pm
Dismantling hours:
– 6 November: 6 pm – 10 pm
– 7 – 8 November: 8 am – 8 pm
Please note:
– Vehicles will not be allowed inside the hall.
– Exhibitors who have booked their stand through ServiFira can have access to the stand 48 hours before the event starts. Their furniture will be delivered 24h before the event’s opening.
– All assembly staff will need a Contractor Pass, a personal and nontransferable pass that will give access during assembly and disassembly periods (not during the event celebration). Members of the assembly team will have to request their Contractor pass. The Organization will review the application and shall approve or deny it.
